The central highlands of Sri Lanka are known for Ceylon coffee beans, and they were a part of our history long before Ceylon tea was introduced. The distinct flavour profiles are due to the elevation, glorious climate and soil conditions that are found in these highlands of our tropical island. Sri Lanka (Ceylon) Matale Region raw coffee beans are processed using traditional handcrafted methods that have stood the test of time. This region too produces a mix of Arabica and Robusta coffee, promising a wide variety of bold flavours and a distinct caffeine content to suit various palates of coffee connoisseurs the world over.
We always make sure our batch sizes are relatively small, making the selection process easy and more careful, which also allows traceability. We make sure to work with selected plantations and small farmer groups to collect the best handcrafted coffee beans that Sri Lanka has to offer. We also ensure that a thorough quality control process is followed after collection. The coffee beans which are sent to our facility are properly screened, graded and sorted according to moisture levels, uniformity and overall quality. Finally, they are packed under the best food and safety practices and made available to deliver globally.
